Introducing Elevating Authenticity: A New Name, Aligning Values with Action

Updated: Sep 24

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about my business. But before we dive into the details, let me take you back to how I arrived here.

In mid-April, as my family faced one of our hardest moments, taking Papi to the hospital, I was on the brink of finalizing three contracts. But my attention, understandably, was elsewhere—focused on my father, on our family, and on navigating the challenging days ahead. None of those deals materialized, and shortly after, Papi passed. Anyone who has walked through deep grief understands the spiral that follows—a time of intense reflection, emotional overwhelm, and the difficulty of functioning anywhere near full capacity.

During those reflective moments, one thought kept returning to me: Papi’s words, "Your voice is the strongest thing you have; never let anyone silence you." That hit me hard because, in so many ways, I had been quieting my own voice, pursuing clients and opportunities that didn’t align with my values. My business didn’t feel authentic, and B&I Consulting, while growing, felt more like a side project turned full-time out of necessity than an expression of my true purpose. Even the name itself didn’t resonate with who I am or what I stand for.

I’m not just a business owner. I am an advocate. I’m a Leo through and through—driven by purpose, unafraid to speak truths, and constantly challenging myself and others to live in alignment with our deepest values. But how could I challenge others if I wasn’t living fully in that alignment myself? My mission was to help organizations and individuals align their values with their actions. Yet I wasn’t doing the same for my own business.

Grief has a way of clarifying things. It taught me that life is too short to not live in full alignment with who we are. I had let fear—of discomfort, of rejection, of failure—hold me back from fully owning my voice and my truth. And it was time to change that.

So, with that clarity, I decided it was time for my business to reflect the authenticity I strive to embody every day. After months of introspection and work, I’m beyond excited to introduce Elevating Authenticity—a name that truly represents my mission, my values, and the work I am committed to doing in this world.

It’s official. I received the paperwork from the state of Massachusetts, making Elevating Authenticity the home of Elevating Authenticity Consulting LLC.

So, what can you expect moving forward? More than just a name change. Elevating Authenticity will continue to focus on high-impact speaking engagements, deep consulting partnerships, leadership coaching, and so much more. You’ll also find new resources like blog posts, resources to help you on your journey, a podcast, and additional tools for leaders who are ready to embark on their journey toward authenticity with support.

Because here’s the thing—living in our authenticity isn’t a destination; it’s a lifelong journey. And I’m incredibly grateful to have you as part of mine.
